Privacy Policy

Last updated August 2026

This is a plain-language draft for launch, not legal advice. Have a lawyer review and adapt it before you rely on it.

Browsing takes no account

You can search, filter, and save pieces without creating an account. We don’t require your name or email to browse the catalog.

What we collect

For jewelers who create an account: your business name, contact name, email, phone, business address, resale permit details, and shop location (derived from the ZIP you provide) so buyers can find you by distance. For buyers who choose to contact a jeweler: only what’s needed to make that connection.

Buyer contact is protected

We never expose a buyer’s email address to a jeweler. If a buyer chooses to share a phone number, it is passed through a privacy proxy rather than revealing the raw number. Buyers are never required to reveal who else they’ve viewed or contacted.

We don’t sell your data

Trestana does not sell your personal information, and we don’t show third-party ads that pay to target you inside the product. We use information only to operate and improve the service.

Jeweler contact details

Jewelers control what contact information they publish so buyers can reach them. Public shop details (name, location, hours, and any contact methods the jeweler chooses to publish) are shown to buyers; private account details such as login credentials are not.

Service providers

We use vetted providers to run the service — for example, hosting, database, email delivery, and (optionally) grading-report reading. They process data only to provide their service to us.

Your choices

Jewelers can update or remove their listings and account details at any time. To request access to or deletion of your information, contact us at the address published on trestana.com.

Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves; material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
