1. What Trestana is
Trestana is a discovery service. Independent jewelers list fine jewelry inventory; buyers search by specification and location and contact jewelers directly. Trestana is not a party to any sale. We do not process payments between buyers and jewelers, hold inventory, ship goods, or take a commission. Every transaction happens directly between the buyer and the jeweler, in person or through channels they arrange themselves.
2. No transaction, no escrow
Trestana never touches the transaction. We provide no cart, checkout, escrow, deposit, or buyer-protection service. Any dispute over a purchase, price, authenticity, condition, or delivery is strictly between the buyer and the jeweler.
3. Jeweler responsibilities
Jewelers are responsible for the accuracy of every listing, including specifications, grading report numbers, pricing, and availability. Listings must reflect inventory the jeweler actually holds and can sell. Jewelers must keep listings current; stale listings are automatically hidden. Jewelers represent that they are a legitimate business, hold any required resale permit, and have the right to sell the items they list.
4. Verification badges
A “Verified” status reflects checks Trestana performs on a jeweler’s business details and is never available for purchase. Placement and promotion may be paid for and are always labeled as such; verification and organic ranking are never for sale.
5. Acceptable use
Do not post false, misleading, counterfeit, stolen, or unlawful listings; do not scrape, harvest contact information in bulk, or misuse other users’ information; do not attempt to interfere with the service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
6. No warranty; limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Trestana is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or authenticity of any listed item, or for the conduct of any buyer or jeweler. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trestana’s liability arising from your use of the service is limited.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
